Croton Dems have added yet one more fun and informative gathering so friends and neighbors can meet and greet as they share hopes and dreams for our village. Just as the yearly Democratic Soup Supper has become a loved annual event, so too will this new and exciting neighbor-to-neighbor gathering be a welcomed event to be looked forward to for years to come. The lively exchange of comments , concerns and hopes was front and center all evening. It was a huge success as close to 100 residents joined in celebrating life in Croton. With standing room only the friendly banter and exciting new faces and ideas were contagious. It was clearly an expression of support and we believe our residents love being a part of a community of neighbors working together for the good of Croton. Expressions of wanting to be involved echoed clearly through the crowd and our candidates listened and absorbed the many good ideas discussed.
Leo, Ian and Casey, our Democratic candidates, hosted the unique brew tasting gathering at the Black Cow Coffee House this past Friday evening, Mike Grant, as always, generously allowed us to use the Black Cow as our meeting place and it was packed with newcomers and oldtimers as well. Close to 100 people came and enjoyed each others company while sipping Ian’s delicious home brew. New residents mixed and talked with long-term residents who shared comments and concerns about this village we love. One new couple who moved to Croton a mere 4 months ago remarked “We are so happy we chose Croton. The people are so friendly and our kids have already made new friends. Tonight it’s our turn to meet new “grown up” friends. What a great way to do it and learn things about the village as well. We knew Croton was a friendly town but this is a special relaxed welcome for those of us new to the community.”
